Frequently Asked Questions

General FAQs

Q1: What areas do you serve?

A: Manhattan, Long Island's North Shore, and the Hamptons are our primary markets. We also take select projects in Westchester and beyond.

Q2: What type of projects do you specialize in?

A: High-end residential renovations — full gut renovations, kitchen and bath, complete interior packages, and custom millwork. We also take select retail and hospitality projects for design-forward brands. See our Retail & Hospitality page for examples.

Q3: Are you licensed and insured?

A: Yes. Rosembarg Construction LLC is a fully licensed and insured General Contractor, ensuring all projects meet state and local regulations while giving clients peace of mind.

Q4: Do you work with architects and designers?

A: Yes — and it's some of our most important work. We've built long-term relationships with leading New York design studios and understand how to operate as an extension of a designer's team. We protect the design intent, communicate proactively, and execute to the level your clients expect. See our For Designers page for more.

Process FAQs

Q5: How do I start a project with you?

A: The first step is a conversation. We discuss your vision, scope, timeline, and budget — and establish whether the project is a good fit before anything else. Reach out through our contact page and we'll respond within one business day.

Q6: Can you help with permits and approvals?

A: We coordinate the full approvals process through our network of trusted architects and expeditors. You don't chase paperwork. We manage it.

Customization & Design FAQs

Q7: Can you create custom millwork or built-ins?

A: Yes. Custom cabinetry, libraries, closets, and built-in furniture are a core part of what we do. The East Hampton library on our Residences page is a good example of what's possible.

Q8: Do you offer design assistance if I don’t have a Designer?

A: We can provide design-build services for the right project — handling both design direction and construction under one roof. Reach out and we can discuss what makes sense for your scope.
